Lauren McDonough (Tribe)
Lauren McDonough is a recent graduate of Bryn Mawr College and is planning on attending medical school this upcoming fall. While she has enjoyed singing in a large opera chorus and in an a cappella group in college, she is new to the theater world. Lauren joined the cast of Hair because she wanted to have a memorable and exciting adventure. She would like to thank the creative team for turning a simple idea into an incredible production that redefines the concept of performance in New York City.
Katherine McSherry (Sheila)

Katie is a Marist College grad and she is currently in the process of completing her MA at NYU in Educational Theatre. Thank you and hugs to: Alex, Julian, Monica, Ben, Mom, Dad, Claire. LOVELOVELOVE to her amazing Hair family – the reason the commute wasn’t so terrible.
Matthew Mezzacappa (Tribe)
Matthew Mezzacappa holds an MFA in Musical Theatre Writing (NYU) but hasn’t been in a full-length musical since high school. He wrote book and lyrics for an award-winning musical with composer Cynthia Wong, Jennifer the Unspecial, about four eighth-graders who time-travel. Jennifer the Unspecial has received two full productions and is licensed by Youthplays. He also wrote a one-act play, Singing in the Shower, which was performed alongside pieces by Tennessee Williams and Neil Simon at the Old Academy Players. He cofounded the NYU Instant Musicals group which writes and performs complete musicals in under two hours. Thanks to Evan!
Jade Millan (Tribe)
I am Jade Millan. I started a career in Accounting nearly a year ago and currently work in the tax department of a major book store in the City. After spending years developing myself mentally and professionally for the business world, I decided to take time to focus on Jade. I always possessed a creative talent in arts and crafts but sadly, I constantly suppressed it. I love television and movies and have a deep admiration for musicals. My favorite musical is Moulin Rouge by Baz Luhrmann. My knowledge and experience in theatre and acting is limited. I took a beginners acting class over the summer and soon signed up with After-Work Theatre Project and became part of the cast of Hair as a Tribe member. “Get out of your head and go into your heart.”
