the Broadway Community!

      This year, the Lake Central Theatre Company is proud to be a Participant with Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS (BC/EFA).  This organization is one of the leading AIDS fundraising groups in the country, and the International Thespian Society is one of its largest partners.  Money goes toward providing services for those suffering from HIV/AIDS, other serious ailments, and providing financial stability for working artists.  In 2013, over $10 million was distributed to fund the AIDS initiative, the Phyllis Newman Women’s Health Initiative, the Dancers’ Resource, The Actors Work Program, and Hurricane Sandy relief.  

      During intermission, members of Spectrum, Lake Central’s gay/straight alliance, will be conducting a “red ribbon” run.  They will accept any donation you wish to make, and in exchange you will receive either a red ribbon or red wristband  Thank you in advance for your support!
