 Who's Who

  • Deborah Abramson

Deborah is the Children's Music Director for Matilda the Musical on Broadway. Everything else about her present and future is up in the air. Everything about her past is searchable on the internet. She almost never writes songs anymore, and would not have written this one except for Michael Gioia's kindness in choosing and pursuing her, and for William Finn's baffling faith in her.

  • Scott Alan

Scott wrote the book, music and lyrics for the musical Detour in Los Angeles. Many of Broadway's elite have sung his music which can be found on his debut CD "Dreaming Wide Awake." He released the album "Keys" in 2008, "What I Wanna Be When I Grow Up" in 2010 and "LIVE" in 2012. He is currently recording the album "I'm Coming Home to You" and is in development on the musical Home.

  • Sam Carner and Derek Gregor

Carner and Gregor's musical Unlock'd was produced Off-Broadway and won a Richard Rodgers Award and "Best in the Fest" at NYMF. Their musical Island Song has played at the Bloomington Playwrights Project. Sam Carner has taught at Yale and NYU, and Derek Gregor founded the rock band M-LAB.

  • Will Van Dyke

Will is the composer of Pages; Winnie The Pooh, Kids!; The Lion King Jr. and Kids; and The Girls I've Liked. Upcoming works include Magnificent Climb, Imagine Harry and The Gospel According to Stevie B. His albums "Chasing the Day," "Writing Kevin Taylor" and "Daylight" and "Constant" (with Matt Doyle) as well as his single "Another Time" are available digitally.
