 Who's Who

  • Abby McKaig head shot

    Abby McKaig

    as Zebra

Abby, who plays the role of Zebra, is making her singing and acting debut. Abby's twin sister, Maggie, plays the role of Bird in this musical. Abby has one brother and FIVE sisters. Abby was born in Germany & has lived in many places. Now that her dad has retired from the US Army, Abby is happy to call Brighton her forever home. She enjoys creative writing, making funny videos, being outside & hanging out with her friends. Abby plays basketball & softball, but has played flag football, soccer & volleyball. At home, as in school, Abby is known as a chatty goof ball and a class clown who keeps everyone laughing. Abby doesn't know what she wants to be when she grows up, but thinks being a professional basketball player or YouTuber would be super cool. She is also excited (and nervous) to learn more about the drama world and share the experience with her close friends & cast mates.

  • Abby Watkins head shot

    Abby Watkins

    as Shenzi

Abigail Watkins is excited to be performing as Shenzi, the main hyena in her first musical The Lion King JR. Abigail graduated from Hawkins Elementary in 2016 and was in fourth grade choir where she became comfortable performing in front of others. Abigail soon moved on to Maltby Intermediate School where she played the trumpet both years there and still continues playing. Now, Abigail spreads her wings into her first musical The Lion King JR. In addition, Abigail plays soccer and volleyball at Legacy. Abigail has two brothers, a mom, dad, two dogs, and a cat. Abigail looks forward to singing, dancing, and acting on the Scranton stage!

  • Addison Dinkelmann head shot

    Addison Dinkelmann

    as Bird

Addison Dinkelmann is so happy to be a Bird in the musical Lion King JR. She has been in three church musicals as well as two school plays when she was at Hornung Elementary. However, she has never been in a production quite like this. Therefore, she's a bit nervous but also excited. She's most excited to see the costumes. Addison is looking forward to being able to wear clothes that she wouldn't have had the opportunity to wear if she wasn't in this musical performance.
