Richard (‘17) came on strong his freshman year, performing the roles of “Dr. Anagnos” in The Miracle Worker and “Prince Charming” in Cinderella. Last year, he was the evil “Jonathan Brewster” in Arsenic and Old Lace, and then “Lt. Cable” in South Pacific. He was most recently the straightfaced "Furber" in Oh, Promise Me! Richard came to us with a wealth of experience, having appeared on stage at the Ogunquit Playhouse, and received vocal training from his father, the Rev. Jeffrey Patnaude. At Wells Junior High School, he played the evil “Gaston” in Beauty and the Beast and “Baloo the Bear” in Junglebook. Richard is a member of Marching Band and other bands, and sings in the WHS chorus and his church choir.
Harrison ('16) broke forth onto our stage two years ago as “Master Buckhorn, Coachman”, and a Ballroom Dancer in Cinderella. Last year he narrowly escaped death as “Mr. Gibbs” in Arsenic and Old Lace, and then went on to play “Professor” in South Pacific. This past fall, he was "Seth Miller" in Oh, Promise Me! In WES he appeared in Stars 4 Broadway. Off stage, he is a percussionist in concert band and Marching Band, sings in the Chorus and is one of the school's National Anthem singers, and is a member of the Math Team.
Sarah (‘17) debuted on our stage as a Ballroom Dancer in Cinderella. Last fall, she brought “Elaine Harper” to life in Arsenic and Old Lace with finesse and poise and last fall she played the role of "Gladys Vance" in Oh, Promise Me! A multi-talented contributor to theatre, she co-managed the many microphones needs for last spring’s production of South Pacific. At WJHS, she worked on the tech crew for Beauty and the Beast. When she is not on stage, she is involved in the Marching Band and Winter Guard.
