Kelly Moray
as Rona Lisa Peretti
Kelly is thrilled to be playing the role of Rona in 1st Streets production of Spelling Bee. You may remember her from the area, having recently played Justice in Rock of Ages at Genesius Theatre, Miss Andrew in Mary Poppins, and as Camila, In the Heights. Some of her other favorite roles include Tracy in Hairspray, Emma in Jekyll and Hyde and the Wardrobe Mistress/Carlotta US in the international tour of Phantom of the Opera. As always she is so excited to be on stage with her husband Joey Moray.

Steve Reazor
as Vice Principal Douglas Panch
Steve performed with 1st Street Players for the first time as Judge Danforth in The Crucible. Favorite roles include the father in A Christmas Story (“I get excited whenever I see a fishnet stocking”), Sancho in Man of La Mancha, Michal in The Pillowman and Charlie in The Foreigner. He's directed shows locally such as The Rocky Horror Show, Sylvia AND currently co-directing Avenue Q at Forge Theatre. Although he is not a competitive speller, he has great empathy for them. He still remembers missing the word “ocean” in his second grade spelling bee.

as Chip Tolentino
Corey is grateful to be back on the 1st Street stage, performing with the love of his life. Regional credits: Barrymore Recommended The Civil War (Eagle Theatre), Assassins (Eagle Theatre), Next to Normal (EPAC), The Rocky Horror Show (1st Street Players). He’d like to thank Drew for inviting him to perform with this talented cast, his wife, Lauren, for all her love and support, and his parents for always coming to see him perform. For Mimi and Pappy.
