Disney's Frozen Jr. - January 31 - February 01, 2020

A&M Consolidated High School

 Director's Notes

Are you ready to laugh?

I am amazingly proud of what this group has been able to put together in such a short amount of time! You really are in for a treat.

This is the first of many improv shows to come. As you may know, both high schools have annual improv shows (I used to direct the "Warped Improv Troupe- WIT at AMCHS) and at Pecan Trail, we want to continue that tradition. Improvisational Acting is the wonderful starting point for all actors, it prepares the actor to take on any role and lends to success in life. The best public speakers, teachers' politicians, and leaders can effectively use improvisation. The list goes on and on.

This show would not be possible without YOU! If you haven't already done so, please fill out the suggestion cards and turn them into the desk in the front of the stage. Your suggestions drive the show! Who knows... we may bring you on stage!

On your marks, get set. Let's have some fun!

PS- If you love the show and want to see a DOUBLE DOSE of Improv, join us TOMORROW (Saturday) at Brazos Valley Troupe (3705 E 29th St, Bryan, TX) at 7:30pm as we join the "Oxymorons Improv Troupe" for another fun night of improv! Seating is limited for this event. Tickets are $10 and reservations can be made by emailing bvttix@yahoo.com. We hope to see you there!

Welcome to the Laughing Owls Improv Show!

A few thanks:

Josh Zehnder and David Childers- Thanks so much for serving as "Team Captains" and assisting with rehearsal! This show would not have been possible without your help.

Drake Lane: Thank you for stepping in as a Team Captain so last minute. Also, thank you for spreading your love of theatre and impov to the students at Forest Ridge Kids Klub. They are so lucky to have you!

Ashley Hayes- Thank you for designing our beautiful team shirts!

Kellie Deegear- Thank you for giving me the opportunity to serve the students of Pecan Trail. Thank you for being a strong supporter of the arts. The fine arts department appreciates you so much. Finally, thanks for laughing with us and letting us make fun of you during the show...  :)
