“Wayne, it is very easy to feel like you're only a secondary character in someone else's grand story. That does not mean, however, there isn't another story out there that's all about you. The one where you're the most important person in the whole world.” — Headmaster
At its heart, Puffs reminds us that heroism doesn’t always come with dramatic music or a flowing cape. Sometimes it looks like showing up. Sometimes it looks like trying again. And sometimes it looks like choosing kindness, loyalty, and perseverance—even when no one is watching.
Puffs teaches us that believing in yourself—your voice, your value, and your ability to make a difference—is where the magic begins. What you bring to the world matters, even when it feels small or unnoticed. And when a group of wonderfully imperfect people comes together with that belief, something truly magical can happen.
Much like our beloved Puffs, this production does not happen because of one “chosen one.” It happens because of a whole lot of people doing their part—sometimes heroically, sometimes quietly, and sometimes while holding coffee and wondering how it got so late.
Thank you to the Families who support us in countless ways; the Cast who bring heart and humor to every rehearsal and performance; the Crew who build worlds and make magic seen and heard; the Business Team who make the unseen things seen; the School Administration for their guidance and trust; our Vocal Boosters for their constant support; and the Directorial Team who help shape this story and keep me mostly sane (you know who you are).
Tonight, we invite you to discover your inner Puff by celebrating the courage to try, the power of teamwork, and the magic that happens when ordinary people discover they’ve been extraordinary all along.
Thank you for being part of this story.
