AIJA PENIX, an accomplished vocalist, actress, and professional makeup artist with a résumé that spans film, theater, and the musical stage, hails from Nashville and Rockford, Ill. Aija’s television and film credits include Nashville, Hell Week and Atonement. Her theatrical works are just as diverse with performances in Ragtime, Happy Ending, Dreamgirls, I Can’t Make You Love Me, All Is Fair in Love & War, Strange Love and Tiny Tim. Her work as a background vocalist includes such notable artists as Brooks & Dunn, Dorinda Clark Cole, Paul Porter, Tim Hassall, and Keb Mo.
