On the afternoon of May 20, 2013, an EF5 tornado, with peak winds estimated at 210 miles per hour (340 km/h), struck Moore, Oklahoma, and adjacent areas, killing 24 people and injuring 377 others. The tornado was part of a larger weather system that had produced several other tornadoes over the previous two days. The tornado touched down west of New Castle at 2:56pm CDT, staying on the ground for 39 minutes over a 17-mile (27km) path, crossing through a heavily populated section of Moore. The Tornado was 1.3 miles (2.1 km) wide at it's peak.

The Creative Team from Broadway Theatricals, the Inland Empire's Premiere Theatre Company producing "Theatre with Purpose," would like to announce that $1.00 from every R&H OKLAHOMA ticket sold will be donated to the AMERICAN RED CROSS: DISASTER RELIEF FUND to assist Oklahoma Tornado victims. By attending today's performance, not only are you seeing a great show, you are also supporting a worthy cause.

The Red Cross will be in Oklahoma for the weeks and months ahead to help people get back on their feet and recover.
