Centennial High School

 Production Team Who's Who

  • Emily Aleman head shot

    Emily Aleman

Emily is pumped to be working on her 6th production as Technical Director at CHS. She has been in love with this program since day one as a Centennial student (back in the day) and is extremely flattered that Kellie wants to work with her. Since receiving her BA in English and theatre at Brigham Young University, she has made it a goal to stay active and involved with the arts in her community. Emily would like to thank Kellie McCarty for being such an amazing friend, her husband, Jordan, for encouraging her, her parents for their support, and, of course, her daughter Ruby, for being a good girl in the theatre and letting mommy live her dream.

  • Tim Wells head shot

    Tim Wells

Tim Wells grew up in a small town in Oklahoma and graduated with a BME from the University of Oklahoma. After teaching his first year in Duncan, OK, he moved to Portland and began teaching in the Centennial School District. After a four-year departure to other school districts and earning his MST from Portland State, Tim moved back to Centennial where he is now the only band director in the district. He is now in his 30th year of teaching and his 25th year with Centennial School District. Since moving to Portland in the summer of 1987, Tim has performed on trumpet and trombone in numerous high school musical productions. He has played in the pit orchestra for Glencoe, Southridge, Hillsboro, Ridgefield, Columbia River and Centennial High Schools.
