Canon Agett
as Albert (Bronx), Jo Jo (Brooklyn)
Canon is a rising 7th grader at Gildersleeve. He has performed in OZ, Joseph, 101 Dalmatians, Beauty and the Beast, and is very excited to play Albert and Jo Jo in Newsies! Canon plays the French horn in band, and percussion and bass guitar in Jam Joy. He plans to be a NASA engineer one day. Canon gives special thanks to mom and dad “for being my biggest support,” to God for everything, and to Centerstage for all the amazing stage opportunities.

Celeste Agett
as Stage Manager/Nun (Queens)
Celeste began singing & dancing at the age of 8, which led to her love for performing. She landed her first professional role at age 15 and was hooked. A contract as a performer with Busch Gardens brought her to VA in 2002. Her love for performing eventually led to a love of teaching, directing, & choreography. Since 2005 Celeste has taught students of all ages piano, acting, voice, and dance. She has been with Centerstage since 2007. A graduate from the American Music and Dramatic Academy, Celeste also studied at Broadway Dance Arts in NYC. She has traveled throughout the United States as a professional singer/dancer. Celeste has also choreographed and led workshops internationally. She is passionate about inspiring others to grow in their faith and their talents and is excited to have her entire family participating in this show together. She says, “My family is my world and I’m so happy we love theatre together.”

Aedyn Ballard
as Guard/Policeman/Roosevelt (Queens)
Aedyn just completed his sophomore year at Mountain View High School, where he works as a member of their drama club. He has played many roles, but some of his favorites are The Wizard (OZ), Mr. Salt (Willy Wonka), Bert Healy (Annie), Admiral Boom/Chairman (Mary Poppins), and most recently, The Narrator/Monsieur D'Arque (Beauty and the Beast). Aedyn has been a part of the Centerstage family for a decade and hopes to pursue a career in voice acting, writing/directing or comics and art. He has briefly returned to Virginia from his hiatus in Idaho and sends special thanks to "my mom, my theatre teachers, my friends, and myself.”
