Prince of Egypt is a story about unwavering faith, courage, found family, doing what you believe is right even when faced with impossible consequences, breaking the chains of generational trauma, and unbreakable bonds of brotherhood. Prince of Egypt is a very human story, and people of all backgrounds and religions can enjoy and relate to it.
I am honored for the opportunity to help tell this story along with the directing team and this wonderful group of students. Although the themes are emotional, they are themes that I believe many of us face at one point or another in our lives.
It’s been an absolutely wonderful year with this group of students. They are kind, supportive, eager to learn, and they are very hard-working. They continually inspire me as an educator, and remind me daily why I have chosen this field of work. I would like to thank them for constantly bringing a smile to my face and giving my work so much meaning and joy.
I would also like to thank my co-teachers, Conner and Celeste. Conner – you are an inspiration and you are a beautiful storyteller in your directing! Celeste, your choreography brings tears to my eyes. It is such a privilege to work alongside both of you! Finally, I would like to thank our studio director, Rebecca. Rebecca, you are amazing and we are so thankful for everything you do!
Prince of Egypt has been my favorite show to music direct so far. The music is beautifully written and very impactful alongside the emotional context of the show. The students did a fantastic job bringing this story to life, and I hope you enjoy the show!

At its heart, Prince of Egypt is a story about identity, courage, and the transformative power of faith. It is a journey that asks what happens when we are called to leave behind the comfort of certainty and step into the unknown for the sake of something greater than ourselves.
In bringing this production to life, our goal has been to tell this epic story through movement as much as through words and music. We hope that audiences experience not only the wonder of Moses' journey, but also the universal questions it raises about leadership, sacrifice, freedom, and belonging.
May you leave inspired by the hope that can emerge even in the most difficult circumstances and the enduring belief that one person can help change the lives of many. Thank you for joining us on this journey.
