  • Laura Chaney

    Director/TD/Sound Design

    Professor Laura Chaney is in her 10th year at Cottey College. She serves as the coordinator of theatre and Fine Arts Division Chair. She is a thetare generalist /director and designer and serves as the Technical Director for the Center for the Arts. She would like to send her love to her wife Heather and daughter's Katie and Abby for their love and support as well as her mother Carolyn Rich. 

  • Klair Soukup

    Assistant Director/ Fight Choreographer/ Set Design

    Klair Soukup is a third year from Amarillo, Texas. Klair is a theatre for social change major with a minor in business. After Cottey, she plans to move back to Texas and teach high school theatre. Klair’s favorite show to be a part of was Disney Descendants: The Musical in the role of Ben and fight choreographer for The Sweet Science Of Bruising. Klair would like to thank her Mom, Dad, Sisters, and Grandparents for believing in her and supporting her inside and out of the theatre. And also Laura for investing in her within the theatre and helping her grow.

  • Sasha Smith

    Intimacy Coach/Fencing Director

    Sasha Smith is a fourth year from Creston, Iowa. She is a theatre major with a dance minor. After Cottey, she plans to pursue a career in musical theatre. Sasha’s favorite show to be a part of was The Rocky Horror Picture Show in the role of Dr. Frank N Furter. Sasha thanks her parents, friends, and girlfriend for their love and support.

  • Kordelia Taylor

    Costume Design

    Kordelia Taylor is a third year from Creston, Iowa. Kordelia is a theatre major with a history minor. After Cottey, she plans to move East and pursue stage management. Kordelia’s favorite show to be a part of was Glow’n Up in the role of Professor Craft.
