Francis Arroyo
as Piragua Guy
Francis Arroyo is very excited and sad to be ending his senior year as Piragua Guy in In The Heights (Especially because he is Puerto Rican playing a Puerto Rican which is quite a phenomenon). Francis has been involved in eight productions here at Dougherty, and is very thankful for the experiences that the drama department has given him. Some of his roles have included Peter Van Daan in The Diary of Anne Frank, Benjamin in Joseph, and Bobby Strong in Urinetown: The Musical. Along with drama, Francis has been apart of the DVHS Choir program, and has been in Chamber Singers for the past three years. He hopes to continue his love for performing and one day be on Broadway, or star in a major film, or have a career as a recording artist. (He has a lot of dreams that he wants to make reality) . He thanks you all for coming and thanks Mr. Vega and Mrs. Walker for the memories.
