Mariam Yar

Mariam Yar is a freshman here at Dougherty Valley and is thrilled to start off her first musical of her high school experience. This is her 2nd show with DVHS drama, although her love of theater began in 7th grade. She was last seen as a very dramatic SuperCenter shopper in Love/Sick. She would like to thank her friends, her family, her two cats, her talented cast mates, and Mr. Vega for everything they’ve done for her. Sophia Zurbano

Sophia Zurbano is a sophomore at Dougherty Valley and is thrilled to be performing in this year's musical, RENT. You may have seen her last on the Dougherty stage when she played a shopper in Love/Sick. Her passion for theatre started in eighth grade, where she played Dorothy in Gale Ranch's musical production, The Wizard of Oz. When she isn't rehearsing with her drama buds, she can be found chilling with her friends, watching Netflix, or cuddling with her teddy bear. She would like to thank her friends and fam for all the support, the cast and crew for their incredible work, and Mr. Vega for this amazing opportunity. Enjoy the show!

Rebecca Khoudian

Stage Manager

Rebecca Khoudian is a junior at DVHS and has been in the drama program for the last three years. But you won’t ever find her in front of the stage as she’s a backstage techy. Outside of theatre she enjoys reading, drawing, and hanging out with her cat. You also can find her in the library at all times. She’d like to thank Mr. Vega for giving her a chance as a small freshman and to all the people she’s worked with in the past as they’re the most diverse and interesting group of people she’s ever met.
