Jessica Thonen
she/her/hers (Producer)
Jessica Thonen (Scenic and Costume Designer) is the design and technology professor at Eckerd College in St Petersburg, FL, where she supports the BA and BFA degree programs for the Theatre Discipline. With a BA in drama from University of Dallas and MFA from West Virginia University, she has designed scenery and costumes in Europe, Off-Broadway, and throughout the United States. She has extensive touring experience, working at venues such as Radio City Music Hall and the Kodak Theatre in Los Angeles as well as Norwegian Creative Studios, the entertainment arm of Norwegian Cruise Lines Holdings. In addition to the trappings of theatre, her great passion in life is creating supportive, collaborative communities no matter the environment and is grateful to have carried that passion into all arenas of her work. She is thankful for the support and patience of Douglas Thonen and their two children, Lucille and Marilyn.
