Notes From The Directors
I have been in love with this club since my freshman year. The messages of hope, courage, beauty, perseverance and strength each show brings inspire me. I am so honored to have worked with such a talented and joyous cast. Yes, we have our problems, every cast does, but I love you all for how you were able to persevere through it all. We went through a lot of hardships this year, and the generations of leaders and club members before us went through even more to get us to where we are now. We are metaphoricaly standing on sacred ground. This show is not just a show to us. It is our voice, our hearts, our stories, our insecurities, our guidence. We use this show as a vessel to teach each other and the audiences through the language of the arts, a common passion we all share.
To my future leaders (aka writers, directors, producers)
Don't be afraid to say what you feel, trust yourself and your vision and if you can’t, trust God and each other. Your will have disagreements but always find a solution with each other. I trust that you will continue to keep the Legacy going and that is not to apply pressure but understanding of what power you yield. Make a change.

We did it! Thank you to everyone who had a hand in the process of making this show great! I pray that our message touches everyone's heart. We are the great legacy of those who fought before us. With this knwoledge, we will continue to empower and support one another. The Black Student Union has been my home since freshman year. It is surreal to think that this time has come to end, but I continue to pray for the greatness of this club and the community it uplifts.

Thank you for sharing the ups and downs with me. Thank you for all of your hard work and effort. You have each done your part to make my time at LaGuardia unforgettable.

Wow all those House Party calls really paid off! Thank you for all that you do.
