Vivian Papamichael
Producer
Vivian Papamichael-Skalas is the producer of The Laramie Project. By day she leads the quiet unassuming life of a Social Worker, counseling seniors at a large NYC agency. She is a manager for GGP Events, an event-planning company. She tutors children and adults in English, Greek, French and Spanish – language and writing skills. But by night she morphs in order to pursue dreams of grandeur: creativity through theater work. After many years of silently incubating ideas, The Laramie Project seemed a perfect way to get back to serious business. Vivian has a Bachelor of Arts in French Language and Literature from NYU College of Arts and Science, She spent junior year in Paris where she directed Ionescu’s Jack, or the Submission, and Beckett’s Not I, at a Versailles theater. She has been inspired by the dedication of all involved to put this project together: George, Ally Sheedy, the cast, crew, Kenneth Martin, Scott Aronow, our patient family and many others.
