Norge Yip is a featured soloist and ensemble singer throughout Southern California and for recordings for albums, commercials, music videos, video game/television/movie soundtracks, and studio demos. Recent roles include David Ono's Defining Courage honoring the Nisei soldiers of World War II, Haruki Sakamoto in Torrance Theatre Company's presentation How the Light Gets In, the Russian Admiral and multiple characters in East West Players’ run of Pacific Overtures (Orchestration and Music Direction Award, LA Drama Critics Circle), the Imperial Commissioner in Pacific Opera Project’s production of Madama Butterfly (Opera Company Winner, The American Prize), Sherlock Holmes in Mesopotamian Opera Company’s production of The Italian Lesson, and as Old Man in LA Opera Connects’ production of Nathan Wang’s On Gold Mountain staged outdoors in Liu Fang Yuan, the Chinese Garden at The Huntington (Best Opera Award, BroadwayWorld).

Luc Kleiner

as Owen Chase: a whaling captain and survivor of the Essex

Luc Kleiner is known for his “sublime voix de baryton” (Place des Arts) and “vocal tone and color as heavenly as the stars . . . gentle and emotive” (Singerpreneur). In March 2026, Kleiner performed the central role in Legrenzi’s oratorio La Morte del Cor Penitente. Other recent roles include Schoenberg’s Ode to Napoleon, Dylan Mattingly’s The Bakkhai, and the role of Threat From Within in Los Angeles Philharmonic’s monumental premiere of Mattingly’s Stranger Love, for which Kleiner was dubbed “darkly seductive” by The New York Times.

He joined the Grammy® Award-winning Los Angeles Master Chorale in 2014, and sings regularly with Los Angeles Philharmonic, Seraphic Fire, Street Symphony, the Choir of St. James, and the Oregon Bach Festival chorus. He has sung for artists such as Vampire Weekend, Melanie Martinez, Miley Cyrus, and The Weeknd, and on over thirty film and television soundtracks, including Wicked, Star Wars, Superman, and How to Train your Dragon.
