Granite Hills High

 Crew Who's Who

  • Sarah Gastelum head shot

    Sarah Gastelum

    Director

Sarah is thrilled to be joining the amazingly talented cast and crew at Granite Hills High School to create such a fun and entertaining show. Sarah studied theatre at California Baptist University and has been performing since she was 10 years old. Sarah is fairly new to the directing and production end of theatre, and is so excited to be using her skills and passions to create theatre in a new capacity and help equip the next generation of theatre artists. Some of Sarah's directorial and technical credits include assistant director of Shakespeare's The Taming of the Shrew with the Courtyard Shakespeare Festival, assistant stage manager of Fahrenheit 451 with California Baptist University, and other various self-written and directed small projects. Thank you so much for coming to the show; we hope you enjoy an evening of whodunit, mystery, and a little bit if murder…

  • Janessa Nadeau head shot

Janessa currently holds the title of director of choirs and theatre at Granite Hills high school. She started working for Granite in 2012, and loves being an Eagle.  She began her teaching career in 2003 in Arizona and has worked at the high school, elementary school, and University level. She received her bachelor’s in music education from Arizona State University. Her masters in performance and pedagogy from Oklahoma State University. Janessa has completed postgraduate studies at both University of Washington and San Diego State University. She has been performing since the age of seven years old, and can’t imagine a day without music in her life. It would be impossible to do as much as she does at Granite without the support of her amazing husband and daughter.  Plus the hundreds of kids that she considers her children! I love you all!
