Jay McClintock

This is my first ever role as an actor on stage, my only other role being a stagehand for Macbeth last fall. Being in theatre has given me the confidence to take on acting, something I never thought I'd do. I've learned so much and it's been a blast to be a part of Showtime!

They’ve been in theatre for all 3 years of high school, stage managing Showtime 2023 and Macbeth, puppeteering "Twoey" in Little Shop, and more! They’re excited to show everyone an animatic in Showtime for the second time and be a scriptwriter for the first time beyond small class projects!

Poem, "Letter to my past self"

I have written this poem as a letter to my past self. So during my act, I will be "posing" as my future self and talking about all the things I've accomplished within the past 10 years. I love writing poetry and the theme of this year's show inspired this "letter".
