  • Ms. Allie Timberlake head shot

    Ms. Allie Timberlake

    is a college placement counselor at Jesuit High School. While not an actress by trade, she has managed to secure non-speaking roles in JPAS' Sweet Charity and Jesuit High School's Oklahoma! and The Producers. Ms. Timberlake has extensive dance training, having performed locally with the Loyola Ballet and Happensdance, and as a guest artist with D'Project. She has also performed nationally and internationally with Komenka Ethnic Dance and Music Ensemble. Ms. Timberlake would like to thank her family and friends for all of their love and support this year.

    Director

    A mezzo-soprano, Ms. Arthurs has worked in theatre, film, television and radio. She is on the faculty of Jesuit High School in New Orleans, where she teaches speech and directs the Philelectic Society and the Chorus. She is both vocalist and music director for the Komenka Ethnic Dance and Music Ensemble. Ms. Arthurs teaches private voice lessons and often directs for JPAS’s Theatre Kids!. She is a graduate of the Shakespeare Sedona Institute the Broadway Teachers Workshop 2008. Ms. Arthurs did her undergraduate work in voice at Loyola University and holds a Master of Arts in Arts Administration from the University of New Orleans. www.katearthurs.com

    Mr. Kenny Beck '79

    Choreographer

    has performed, choreographed and/or directed musical theatre productions in almost every venue in Metropolitan New Orleans, including Loyola University, U.N.O., Tulane Summer Lyric Theatre, Le Petit Theatre, Rivertown Repertory Theatre and the Jefferson Performing Arts Society (for whom he directed the JPAS anniversary production of “A Chorus Line” and the Gulfcoast regional premier of Disney’s “Beauty and the Beast”, both also presented for extended runs at the Grand Casino in Biloxi). Additionally, Kenny has choreographed for the New Orleans Opera, the New Orleans Ballet Ensemble, Ballet Hysell and the Loyola Ballet, with whom he performed for over twenty years. He and his wife, Kimberly, are the directors of the Jefferson Ballet Theatre and instructors at the Myra Mier School of Ballet in Kenner. He is delighted to be working on his sixth production here, at Jesuit.
