Deidra Jefferson
as Gary Coleman
Here’s the thing, this is Deidra’s first production with MMP and although it was a “Diff’rent Stroke”, she nailed the role of Gary Coleman. Deidra has played a Lovely Lady in Les Miserables (WHCT), Roderigo in the Shakespeare play Othello (MYO), Mrs. Byron Shelley in Sandbag Stage Left (WNE) and took part in The Vagina Monologues (WNE). Deidra has traveled with the group Up With People, where she sang songs in different languages and traveled to many countries. She would like to thank her family & friends for their continuous support, love, and never ending laughter. This performance is for Deidra’s dearest friends, Chavous and Erin. It’s only for now.

Iesha Rose
as Mrs. T
Iesha discovered a love of performing at the age of five while practicing pliés in her mother’s kitchen. Since then, she has been involved with various choral and theatre companies and is pleased to participate in her first show with Manchester Musical Players. Previously, Iesha appeared in the local productions of The Secret Garden (Ayah), Les Misérables (Featured Soloist), and Broadway Nights (Soloist) with West Hartford Community Theater, and Jane Eyre: the Musical (Mrs. Reed; Lady Ingram) with Rocky Hill Town Theatre, as well as Little Theatre of Manchester's award-nominated staging of You Can't Take It with You (Rheba). An avid reader, Iesha also enjoys cooking, traveling, playing the piano, and napping with her two cats. She thanks her husband, Scott, for fending for himself while she attended rehearsals.
