A Note From The Director
I am indebted to all of the individuals and organizations that have helped bring this show to the stage:
- to Jamie Buhyoff for help casting the show, and for listening to me talk of nothing else for months;
- to Jim “Boomer” Kelly who taught us how to build flats;
- to my dedicated set crew: Josh Brown, Ariana Patterson, Shannon Pitchford, April Sullivan,
Aaron Tipsword, Jay Walters who stayed almost every night after rehearsal to create, build,
and paint sets and props, and those who helped when they could –especially
Claire McCarthy who came home on college spring break to help;
- to Jeff Tipsword who has been building MHS drama club sets since the beginning, and to
those parents who helped this year John Gonzales, Anneke Patterson, and Steve Walters;
- to Marathon Community Theatre for graciously loaning props and costumes;
- to Specialty Hardware for giving us our very own drill;
- to Jodie Gonzales for finding bottles for Grandma’s cart;
- to the Emergency Wig Crew: Jackie O’Neil, Kathryn Rummery and John Schaefer
- to seniors Hannah Gracy and Mackenzie Helms who took the photos and edited
the playbill, respectively;
- to Carl Bish and Tracy McDonald for covering for me on the job and in rehearsal;
- to Dawn Dreizler for opening countless purchase orders, and keeping the finances straight;
- to Publix for donating concession items
- to Marcie Ehrig, for selling ads and arranging for concessions, even though her daughter graduated
last year;
- to concessions crew: Jeannie Gracy, Sharon Helms, Anneke Patterson, TJ Patterson,
and Cathy Walters;
- to ticket crew: Jenn Mixon-Eick, Zulma Jimenez, Autumn and Lisa Tipsword;
- to the families who sent snacks and sodas;
- to my talented cast and crew
I hope you, the audience, enjoy this wonderful show as much as we have enjoyed bringing it to you.
