DIRECTORS NOTE
10 years ago I remember sitting in the audience at the Arcada Theater waiting eagerly to see my older sister in her first show ever. Never in a million years did I think that 10 years later I would be directing that same show for Marquee's big 10 year "Annie"versary. I am so very blessed to be able to come back to Marquee and direct such an important show.
These past 2 months have been filled with a whole bunch of laughs and I wouldn't want it any other way. These kids have put their heart and soul into every song, dance and scene and I could not be any prouder of them.
I want to thank my vocal director Natalie Cerrone, my choreographer, Teagan Ditsworth, and my stage manager Olivia Zimmerman. The show would not have been able to come together without your amazing help and dedication. Lastly, I want to thank Connie Flores for giving me yet another amazing opportunity. Thank you Connie for showing me 10 years ago that I love theater and for giving me the opportunity to share that love with so many people.
Thank you all for coming out and supporting the studio and all of these amazing kids. I hope you enjoy the show.
