Kaeleigh Hughes, a senior has been in multiple productions at MHS including Matilda, High School Musical 2, Yes Virginia and Game of Tiaras. She has dabbled in behind the scenes as a director for Project Direct and has been asst. stage manager for One Acts. She loves being in New Horizons and a Dance Captain for Madz, as well as being part of many leadership clubs at MHS.

In 4th grade I was called down to my music teacher’s room for something that would change my life. I found out I was going to be in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, I loved acting with the high schoolers. Then I went on to middle school and did every play I could, Music Man and Seusical. This year I am excited to be in Bye Bye Birdie and it’s been better than I ever anticipated.

as Mae Peterson

Abby Kesling, a senior, is playing as Mae Peterson. She’s the ITS treasurer this year, and has been active in theatre each year of high school. Some roles have included Juror 10 in 12 Angry Jurors, ensemble in Matilda, and Pearl and Mimi in the One Act Festival. She wants to major in theatre arts in college, and could not ask for a better company for her senior musical.
Grayson Wright

as Hugo Peabody

Grayson Wright is a sophomore at MHS. He is excited to be in his second production “Bye Bye Birdie.” His role in this performance is Hugo Peabody. In the past, he has been a part of “The Music Man” and “Matilda.” Other than acting in the theatre, Grayson enjoys art and science. He would like to thank his parents for supporting and making his dreams come true.

Hannah Matthews, a senior, is excited to be playing Ursula in Bye Bye Birdie! Some of her past performances include roles in Matilda, Goodbye Marianne, and 12 Angry Jurors. She was Assistant Stage Manager for HSM2, and has Directed for Project Direct. Hannah is a member of Madz and Show Captain for New Horizons. She is in Tri-M, SODA, and is a BETA Club VP and ITS Secretary.
