Chris Mercado (Choreographer) is thrilled to be choreographing for one of his all-time favorite musicals. He is enjoying the opportunity to be involved with the high school drama program, working alongside this amazing production team & getting the chance to work with current, former, & new students (including his nephew and niece). Chris spent nearly 10 years working with the Disney Company, has performed on both stage and screen, and has produced, directed, & choreographed many different productions around the country. He is currently an instructor & the Competition Performance Team Manager for Big Star Performing Arts Studio. Chris would like to thank his family & Big Star for their support, & the production team & cast for sharing their passion, talent, & love for the arts. To the cast: Thank you for simply being you & allowing yourselves to inspire others through your passion! Proud of you & I can’t wait to see what the future brings for you! HOLLER!!!

    Choreographer

Shelby Henry (Choreographer) graduated from Mount Si last year. She currently goes to Western Washington University to become a teacher and wanted to have an opportunity to teach dance. She has been dancing for 14 years and has most of her experiences in ballet, but has been dancing and studying, modern, jazz, and tap for just as long. Through collaborating with Chris, this has been an amazing learning opportunity for her, and seeing and teaching dance in a new light. She’d like to thank the cast for their patience and Sara and Chris for allowing her to work with them.
