Doug Rozsmann
Musical Director
Doug Rozsmann (Musical Director) Doug has actively participated over the years in a wide variety of amateur theatre and music organizations. He is currently a board member of the Nanaimo Sings choral organization, directs the Yellow Point Singers, sings with the Tidesmen Men’s acapella chorus, and could be found acting, singing and helping out at Nanaimo Theatre Group. He assisted in musical direction for two previous NDSS production Shrek The Musical and All Shook Up. He appreciates the work students have put in since September and thanks Martha Parker for the opportunity to help develop these young singers.

Danielle Dar Juan
Assistant to the Director
Danielle (Assistant to the Director), a teacher candidate from the University of British Columbia is completing her final Secondary Physical & Health Education (PHE) practicum at NDSS. Danielle has always had a passion for theatre. Her performances include Stuart Little, The Wizard of Oz, and Annie Jr. Her last role was the Cat in the Hat in Seussical the Musical. Throughout her university career, she has worked behind the scenes of many shows. Daniele will continue her teaching journey as she travels to the Helen O’Grady Drama Academy in Manila, Philippines this spring. She would like to thank Martha Parker and the cast and crew of Curtains for welcoming her with open arms to the production. She would also like to thank Bobbie Taylor and the staff at NDSS, as well as the Fraser family for their support and integral roles in her growth as a new teacher.

Hailey Nicholls
Asst. Stage Manager/ Asst. Choreographer
Hailey Nicholls (Assistant Stage Manager/Choreographer) Hailey has been in shows directed by Martha Parker for the past 2 years. She was Pinocchio in Shrek The Musical and Venus/Barfly/Ensemble in All Shook Up last year. This is her first year helping out backstage and learned a lot of new things. Hailey has been dancing for most of her life and now teaches at Vibrant Dance Studios. Hailey is in Grade 12 and very saddened that its her last year with an amazing company.
