The Count of Monte Cristo marks my fifth appearance with NTG, having appeared in Nick Danger, A Case of Belonging, Comedy of Errors, Three Musketeers and California Suite, and I couldn’t ask for a better group of people with which to bring to life such an iconic literary classic. I would like to express his deepest thanks to: Amy Mackay, for giving me this wonderful opportunity and having the faith in me to prove worthy of it. Bob Haas, for sharing his expertise in fight choreography, and helping me accomplish things I never thought myself capable of. Beth Schwartz and Kelli Loughlin for bearing the load of stage management. My multi-faceted friends in the cast and crew, old and new, for their friendship, guidance and talent. I hope we work together many more times. I would like to dedicate my performance to my stepfather Lester Ferrell for his unconditional love and support. Please enjoy the show, and remember: to live well is the best revenge.

Melissa is very proud to be a part of this production - including old friends (Larry, Paul, Dave, Allison, and Betsey), and new (Cody, Allison, Katy, Jackie, Beth, and the rest of the cast).
