It takes a village!

We have many people to thank from the last decade because getting a show ready for a New York audience isn’t something that happens overnight. Let’s start with Rebecca Lane. Rebecca was the first Sally and held tight through three productions of the show. She set a benchmark for those that followed and her contributions to this wacky world were significant. We lost a good one in Yancey Dunham a few years back. He had designed lights for the show several times and played Bartholomew in two productions. We miss you Yancey. Another talented person who influenced the development of the show and has performed as Bartholomew right around 40 times, Matthew Hoffman. Obviously, without Garry Michael Kluger producing everything I work on would be catastrophic. He’s an enormously gifted writer, a calming and classy presence, a terrific friend, and part-time psychologist out of sheer need. Arden Teresa Lewis, who I have known for longer than either of us cares to admit – brilliant and insightful, classy and simply loaded with intelligence and creativity. Soda Persi – everyone’s new bestie and tremendous storyteller through movement…

I better start listing names or this will be a long program. Patrick Beckstead, Bobby Bognar, Kathy Schoeppner Boodram, Robert W.
