This year’s musical showed me how important it is to work with others, but most importantly communicating with each other. Each role needs the work of others to thrive and we have to work as a community with respect and kindness to get the job done for the musical to be its best. This journey lastly allowed me to improve in my organizing skills. Although I have great organization skills, this role helped me to be stronger within the parameters of my job .

Set Assistant/ Running Crew
I learned that the crew is really important and plays a crucial role alongside the cast. At first, I thought they had it easy but now that I'm behind the scenes and not on the stage this year, I realize we are like the backbone that helps the cast shine. I would like to thank Ms. Lisboa for allowing me to be part of something bigger than myself.

This journey I have embarked on as sound operator in this years musical has been nothing short of amazing. I am thankful for my family and all who have supported me in my endeavors to participate in a variety of activities. From debate to now behind the scenes of such powerful musicals, my high school career has truly been amazing. This is not the last you will be hearing on Jada Darby!

This year's musical has made me realize the content of hard work and dedication that goes into large scale productions. I was able to further myself and the capacity of my thinking, all thanks to Ms. Lisboa and Ms. Anderson for taking a chance with me and allowing me to succeed in a different area of expertise.

My time in the Spring Musical has helped me become an organized person. This experience has helped me understand the workings of a musical and how the cast and crew come together to bring life to a show. The musical was a fun and great experience that inspired me and introduced me to a new world.
