    Arnold Ytreeide

Arnold Ytreeide, Ph.D., did his growing up in the Seattle area. In the 7th grade his school got a new thing called a Video Tape Recorder to record football games. Arnie used it to make a video history report that made his history teacher cry. His history teacher was also the football coach. This was Arnie’s initiation into the power of storytelling. Over the decades Arnie has used that power writing and producing in all forms of media. He has worked around the world for and with most major networks and studios, and many stars of sports, politics, and entertainment. He is also the author of the Jotham’s Journey series of Christmas books. In 2002 Arnie was asked to develop NNU’s new “film school.” He agreed to try it for one year, and is still there. Arnie met his wife-to-be at a TV show he was producing. After one look he announced to the crew, "I just met the woman I'm going to marry." Two years later he did. They have 2 children and 4 granddaughters.
