  • Dan Denhart head shot

    Dan Denhart

    as Production Manager/ Technical Director

    has been the head of the Technical Direction Program at OHIO since 1986 and was recently appointed Head of Production Design and Technology Program for the Theater Division. Dan enjoys working as a Production Manager, Technical Director, Set Designer and/or Scenic Charge Artist for OVST. Dan works also with the US Institute of Theater Technology and has served as VP of Special Operations.

  • Justen Locke head shot

    Justen Locke

    as Scenic Designer

    is a second year scenic and lighting design MFA candidate at Ohio University. Justen has won several awards at KCACTF including two Excellence and a Meritorious Achievement. He has designed at The Texas Shakespeare Festival where he has worked many years. Justen also designed the lighting for OHIO’s Division of Theater’s "Rashomon" and was the scenic designer for the "Marathon '33".

    Dayton Willison

    as Costume Designer

    designed OVST’s productions of "Ragtime", "Willy Wonka" and "The King and I" He was Jack in "Into the Woods". A 2010 Ohio University theater graduate, he is a triple threat: costume design, acting, and puppetry. Professional design credits include: Evolution, Columbus Civic, Actors Theater, Columbus Children’s and Weathervane. Dayton taught Commedia dell'Arte at OVST’s 2015 summer youth camp.

  • Keya Myers-Alkire head shot

    Keya Myers-Alkire

    as Sound Consultant

    grew up in Athens, Ohio, received her BFA in Theater from Ohio University and has worked in theatrical lighting and sound since. A proud member of IATSE Local 12, she has been the Master Electrician and Resident Sound Designer at CATCOisTheatre for 18 years. Keya is excited to return to her roots and work with OVST! She is happily married to another OHIO graduate and they have a son together.

  • Marlo Tinkham head shot

    Marlo Tinkham

    as Managing Director

    is a local gal who was the first female student council president at her elementary and the first altar girl of the Catholic Church. She was the Athens High School Drama Club president, continuing in theater at Ohio University, University of Evansville, Chautauqua Conservatory and Classic Stage Company. This is Marlo’s fourth year with OVST, thanks to her three patient daughters and fiancée, Matt.
