    Director

    Joe has collaborated on over 200 theatrical productions across the United States as an award-winning actor, director, educator and producer. He is the Theater Supervisor for the City of Dublin, Ohio’s Abbey Theater of Dublin, Founder and Managing Director of New Albany Youth Theatre and a Creative Consultant for both Broadway2LA Acting Studio and Evolution Theatre Company. Joe is a passionate advocate for new theatrical works. He is the creator of the Abbey Theater of Dublin’s Virtual Theatre Project and served for 6 years as the Program Coordinator for the Greater Columbus Arts Council (GCAC) playwriting fellowship program. He is the President of Theatre Roundtable, a member of Actors’ Equity Association (AEA), a member of the Musical Theatre Educators’ Alliance (MTEA) and an associate member of the Stage Directors and Choreographer Society (SDC).

    Jeremy Llorence

    Jeremy Llorence is a Black American playwright from Metro-Detroit. He is the recipient of a 2022 Individual Excellence Award from the Ohio Arts Council and the 2018 Playwrights Fellowship from CATCO and the Greater Columbus Arts Council. His play Cane River King was the winner of the 2015 Activate: Midwest Festival. He holds a BA from Grand Valley State University and an MFA from Western Michigan University. He is a Creative Writing faculty in the English Department at Otterbein University. Jeremy would like to thank his wife and family for their unending love and support, his colleagues at Otterbein for their energy and inspiration, all the cast and crew of this production and the 2019 CATCO reading for their hard work and creativity, Alyssa, OPT, and the Abbey for taking a chance on this play, CATCO, the GCAC, and the OAC for their accolades and financial support, and Joe Bishara for his collaboration and for being this play’s biggest advocate from day one.
