Notes from the Artistic Director:
It has been an absolute privilege to work with 2023-2024 Season Performance Troupe cast, crew, sponsors, special guests, clients, and board of directors. The Troupe wouldn’t exist without each and every one of these people playing an integral part. Thank you to everyone who has made this dream a reality!
The Troupe began rather accidentally as a space for non-competitive dancers to have some fun and has unexpectedly blossomed into a thriving community of people who are passionate about performing and sharing their craft. We started with a modest dream of one fun performance a year where we would join a more seasoned Celtic band for a couple of dance numbers. However, the overwhelming interest from dancers and musicians to perform with the Troupe made us realize we had the opportunity to really do something unique and special. We slowly started adding costumes and dance numbers, props and sponsors. This is our 3rd season and we’re blown away by how much it has grown, and we’re excited to see how it will grow as we continue to move forward.
We passionately believe in the benefits the Troupe offers to the community. From giving invaluable experience and training to our Troupe members to blessing the community with entertaining and educational performances, it has been a fantastic experience for all. Although we have typically been hired for Festivals and paid events, we are happy to have performed free performances as well for summer camps, senior homes and community fairs.
