Director’s Note
Happy Holidays everyone!
It has been a big undertaking producing the show you are about to see. The students that you see onstage and the ones working backstage and around the theatre tonight have poured their hearts and souls into this production.
They work this hard because this is a story to be told.
On one end, it’s a story about the bond that only siblings can share. The love and care that siblings share, often not spoken (especially while growing up together) is always there. Whatever comes between siblings over the years, there is always a chance to come together and grow.
To the other extent, it is important to be mindful of the unseen struggles of those around us. We all have our own personal battles to face, and we sometimes choose to face those battles alone. We need to cognizant of the fact that anyone may be struggling with their difficulties, even if they choose to keep these struggles to themselves.
Welcome to She Kills Monsters.
