    Lori Zyla

    Director

    Zyla is marking year sixteen heading up the PHS Players.  She also coaches the Speech & Debate Team and advises Thespian Troupe 264.  She teaches various theatre, speech, and debate classes here and serves as president of the WV Speech & Debate Association.  Some past favorite productions include last year's Mean Girls, Addams Family Musical, Carrie the Musical, The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee, Too Much Light Makes the Baby Go Blind, and The Insanity of Mary Girard. Zyla would like to thank her favorite sounding boards (Dino, Bastet, Corinne, and Connie) for their various kindnesses and her cats, Curie and Jinx, for being adorable.

    Mike Lockney

    Music Director

    Mike grew up in Parkersburg and graduated from PSHS and Marshall University.  Though a chemist by trade, he's played music most of his life, including in the Smoot Theater house band, St. Mary's Community Concert Band, and Eastlawn Brass Quartet.  He served as choir director for First Lutheran Church for many years and has played several musicals at the Actors' Guild of Parkersburg and elsewhere.  He served as music director for AGP's La Cage aux Follies and The Producers as well as PHS's Mean Girls and Addams Family Musical. He appreciates the efforts and enthusiasm of this cast!

    Cara Smith

    Choreographer

    Cara has been active in the arts community in Parkersburg for over twenty years, including ballet and Appalachian clogging.  She currently teaches ballet classes.  Cara is a proud mom of a former PHS Thespian, Abbey, who helped out with some ideas via video call.  She's honored to be a part of this production.
