NOTES FROM THE DIRECTOR
I am incredibly proud of this production and all the hard work that has gone into the past four months of rehearsals. The quality of the cast, stage crew, and house crew are outstanding. I am especially proud of the cooperation, level of commitment, and teamwork that was demonstrated by everyone involved in this production. I am so grateful for the bonding and built relationships that are the foundation of this powerful show.I would like to extend my gratitude and to the parents, friends, family, and community that helped make this show a reality.
To my Seniors--it is always bittersweet for me to watch our final production. I am so proud of you and will cherish all the memories we have made on the Pine Ridge Stage and beyond. It is hard to see you go, but I am so excited to see what you will do in the future!
Edmarly- My chicken wrangler! I honestly don't know what i am going to do without your amazing ability to read my mind and assist without me asking. I will always be thrilled to be "Mother Goodin" to you. Thank you for being my mini-me!
Aysha- You are such an incredibly gift person and I am so incredibly proud of how much you have grown these past four years, and all the amazing things you will continue to do!
Davi- I am so grateful that you joined our troupe, and I am so amazed at how quickly you became not just an actor, but a leader. I can't believe this is your first (and last) year of high school theatre.You will do amazing things...Tesla!
Regan- You are an amazing triple threat! I am so glad you joined troupe and flourished as our vice president and resident ideas person. You have such a gift for directing and I am so proud of how hard you have worked for all the wonderful opportunities coming your way. Keep on keeping on!
Khalil- My pun king! You are such a jokester and easily one of the best comedians in our troupe--not to mention a great tomagatchi parent. Not to close the coffin on this year, but I guess we could say you really NAILED it, eh?
Yazmeen- My Brazão pal! I know this year has been a rollercoaster, but I am so glad we got to ride it together! You are going to go out and do GREAT things, and I am so here for it! You've got this kid!
Brianna-You have done so much for me over the years and it has been an absolute joy to see the person you are becoming. I am going to miss your sense of style and knack for always figuring it out in the nick of time. You can do it all! I am so proud of you.
Dakota- My chaotic floor gremlin and resident tech wizard! Thank you for constantly throwing yourself at every hurdle in the path, and happily jumping in at a moment's notice regularly. I honestly don't know what I am going to do without you!
Johnathan- Even though you aren't in the Theatre program, I am so grateful you joined the crew for Addams Family and we got the chance to work together! Than you for being dependable and helping always!
Alex- You are such a talented musician and singer, and I can't believe this is your first year in troupe! I am so happy I got to work with you this year. Best of luck in college!
Brandon- Best of luck (and break a leg!) in your future endeavors! You have grown up so much from freshman year and I can't wait to see what you do next!
Azareia- Your smile could light up the whole stage! Thank you for always rolling with life and being ready for EVERYTHING! Who else could be a god and a celestial body in the same year?
Niyana- I am so happy that I got to see you sing, dance, and act this year! You are phenomenal at everything you set your mind to-- keep it up!
Halo- You are such a kind and caring person, and you are truly at the heart of our troupe! Thank you for always leading with kindness and always asking what you can do for others!
Margo- I am so glad to see you climb out of your shell! You are so talented! I can't wait to see your future successes!
To my wonderful cast and crew--
You truly have made directing this musical an absolute pleasure! I am so happy with what we have created and the impact it will make for years to come. In the words of the Addams Family, "It's family first, and family last, and family by and by". Thank you all for being part of my theatre family. Thank you for helping create this amazing--and memorable-production!
