 Who's Who

  • Bruce Travers head shot

    Bruce Travers

    as George Hay

Bruce E. Travers is very happy to be making his debut with R-ACT. He began acting in the womb, when, on an ultrasound, he performed Hamlet’s soliloquy. Since then, some of his favorite roles have been Sidney Bruhl (Deathtrap), Lawrence Jameson (Dirty Rotten Scoundrels), Ebenezer Scrooge (A Christmas Carol), Leo Clark (Leading Ladies), and Frederick Frankenstein (Young Frankenstein). When he is not on the stage, he enjoys going to church, playing video games, and writing bios. He lives in Ross Township with his wife Robyn, his stepson James, two dogs, three cats, and four chickens (not counting the ones in the freezer). Thank you to “Spin” for his faith in him, and to all the cast who have worked so hard to bring you this terrific show! (And I do mean YOU. Frankly, I don’t much care for the rest of the audience.) Enjoy!

  • Mary Romeo head shot

    Mary Romeo

    as Charlotte Hay

Mary is very excited to be making her R-ACT debut in Moon Over Buffalo. She was last seen as Berthe in The Bobcat Players Boeing Boeing. Other Bobcat productions include Annie Clarke in Calendar Girls, Liz Essendine in Present Laughter, and Ursula Westerby in There Goes the Bride. Mary has also appeared as Aunt May in Little Lake Theatre’s Italian American Reconciliation and as Sue Ellen Gamadge in The Baldwin Players The Best Man. She has also appeared in many productions at The Comtra Theatre, including Crimes of the Heart, Run for Your Wife, The Mousetrap, and London Suite to name a few. She has worked with The Robert Morris Colonial Theatre, Pittsburgh New Works Festival, McCaffrey Mysteries Dinner Theatre and Murder Most Wanted Dinner Theatre in Pittsburgh. Mary holds a Bachelor of Arts Degree from Edinboro University and has studied at The Pittsburgh Playhouse Conservatory.
