Choreographer's Notes Continued
When I was nine, I saw a production of "Cats" with my grandmother. I remember being in awe of the magic that occurred on stage watching a group of people sing and dance. This show is no different. Watching these kids perform on stage brings a smile to my face every time. It is amazing to see what they can accomplish throughout a year of Enrichment, after school practice, and even some weekend rehearsals. It's incredible to watch how they have grown into their characters and it brings me so much joy to watch them perform. Our production would definitely not be possible without all the hard work of Mr. Bennett, Mrs. Stukey, and Ms. Shankle. Thank you to the parents for all their help with costumes and props. To all the cast members, I am beyond proud of you and I hope you know how much I will enjoy watching you perform in Aladdin!
Alexandra Baxter
I have been absolutely blown away by the talent and determination in these incredible students. I have been a part of the competitive dance world for the past couple of years but seeing these students work together to put on a PRODUCTION as 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders is truly so impressive to me. I was unsure about taking on extra responsibility during my first year of teaching, but I have not regretted it for one second! Thank you to Mr. Bennett, Mrs. Stukey, and Ms. Baxter for letting me tag along and introducing me to the world of elementary theatre. An additional thanks to all of the parents, cast, and crew. We could not pull this off without you!
