 Crew Who's Who

  • Scott Harris

is the Theatre Director at Rye Neck High School. Scott began acting when, on a whim, he tried out for his high school musical "Sugar" in his Freshman year. After graduating from Penn State University, he became a professional actor, performing in musicals and plays all over the country, including national tours, regional theatre, and Off-Broadway in NYC. He has appeared in TV shows, feature films, and commercials. He is a member of Actors Equity, the Dramatists Guild, and the Screen Actors Guild. He received his Masters degree in Theatre/Playwriting from Texas State University, and is thrilled to now be in his fourth year as part of the wonderful Rye Neck school district. He teaches three levels of acting courses, plus Technical Theatre, Musical Theatre, and Art of Argument. He is the Chorus director, the Thespians advisor, and the A Cappella advisor. Scott also initiated and directs the Fall plays at Rye Neck. Thanks to Jesse, Mark, Karen, and of course, mom.
