Nicholas Hunt

Thank you all for joining us here on this island! We are very excited to share this amazing story with you. For this Lancer Production (the fifth in one year!) we decided to invite both alumni and current students to join in telling our story. This show is my personal favorite and I hope that after all our hard work, it will become yours too. It is a beautiful story of love and acceptance, an important reminder for all. This is my first show as a director and I could not have asked for a better cast to work with. They truly give one hundred percent of themselves in every rehearsal and I am beyond grateful for every one of them.

I would like to give a huge thank you to Mrs. Schmidt for making this show possible. I have never loved a show like this one and you are the only person that truly saw my vision. We have worked on so many shows this season but this one will always hold a special place in my heart. I have been begging to do this show for years and I never thought it would become a reality, especially in such a short amount of time. Thank you for the countless hours that you put in, fully pouring your heart and soul into everything you do. Without even realizing, you inspire so many people to be the best they can possibly be. You have always been my biggest supporter. I don’t think I could ever thank you enough for being such an amazing mentor and friend.

Mrs. Figur- You outdo yourself with every show! Your costume designs are beyond anything I could ever imagine. I know we aren’t an easy group, but thank you for your patience and helping us create such an amazing show

Mr. Scoles & Alyssa- WOW! Every lighting cue and sound effect takes the scene beyond any vision I’ve ever had. From silhouettes to lightning strikes, you two add a whole new layer to this show. Words can't express how truly grateful I am to have the two of you up in that booth.

Ava- Where do I begin! The amount of work you have put into this show is unbelievable. Thank you for spending countless hours recording our vocal parts for the drive and altogether making sure we sound amazing!

Adia- There is nobody on this planet I’d rather choreograph a show with! We have so much fun working together and I truly could not have done it without you (trust me, I tried.) Our brains work better together and we always have the same ideas. Thank you for all your hard work especially in putting up with me.

Will- Thank you, next.

Mr. Rivera- What would we do without you! We’d be standing on plastic crates! Thank you for helping us perfect our vocals and thank you for being such a huge supporter.

Mrs. Langdon- When we brought up the idea of doing a summer show, no one fought harder for us than you. You have always been so supportive of our shows no matter how crazy they may seem at first. You are truly a friend to everyone in this theater. Thank you for everything you have done for us, especially the Costco cake!

Mr. Schmidt - THANK YOU! We know we can always count on you to do everything and anything that needs to get done. Building car parts, donating your landscaping, delivering body paint; is there anything you won’t do for us? WE LOVE YOU ZACH!

Mr. Fran - Thank you for being our most discerning critic in the nicest way possible. You are constantly showing us ways we can improve and giving us that extra something that makes our good shows great.

Mr. Giannios- Thank you for making sure the theatre is always taken care of! You have such a kind heart and we truly appreciate all you do to help us out!
