Matthew is in his fourth musical at SCHS; former roles include ensemble in "Rent" and "Little Shop of Horrors" and Jose Vegas in "Fame the Musical". After graduation he plans to attend Kennesaw State University and major in Vocal Performance. He would like to thank his Mom for her support throughout his life.

Kahleighya Taylor
as Carla
Kahleighya Taylor plays Carla who works in the neighborhood. She is 15 yrs old, and in her first musical. She was very nervous at first, but her family and friends are to thank for helping get over her shyness. Her friends brought out the crazy girl in her, and her parents gave her the confidence to succeed.

as Abuela Claudia
Katie Palma has been in two acting production and this is her first time in a musical production. In this production of in the heights she plays the lead role of "Abuela Claudia". She enjoys theatre and has got really close with the rest of the cast members. She plans to join many other musical production after In the Heights & she thanks her friends and family for all the support.

as Daniela
Ashanti is in her Junior year at South Cobb, and is in her third musical production. Former roles include ensemble in "Little Shop Horrors", and Goody in "Fame the Musical". She would like to thank all of her friends and family in attendance tonight for their support: Mom Lynn, Dad Todd, Uncle Tommy, Grandmother Gerry and friends Haley, Iggy, Cassie, and Raven.

MarNae Moore
as Vanessa
MarNae is a Junior at SCHS, and is in her third production; she formerly played a dance student in "Fame the Musical" and Jeanette in "Almost, Maine". After graduation, she hopes to attend a performing arts school and then either enter the field of acting or become a veterinarian. She would like to thank her twin Markel Moore for always being there!
