I am a freshman at Independence. I have been performing at Spotlight for the past seven years. I enjoy being on stage and the friends I have made. When I am not at Spotlight, I enjoy hanging out with friends and playing video games. I am thrilled to be Percy Jackson in the Lighting Thief.
Cayman Powell

as Gover/Mr. D & Others

Cayman is 17 years old and is a Junior at Metrolina Christian Academy. He has participated in over 50 productions in his seven years doing theater. He is the President of MCA’s International Thespian Society troupe. Past credits include Orin Scrivello in Little Shop of Horrors, Bert in Mary Poppins JR, and Squidward Q. Tentacles in The SpongeBob Musical. Recently he has directed two shows at Spotlight: 30 Reasons Not To Be In A Play and A Seussified Christmas Carol. Cayman hopes to bring the happy-go-lucky satyr to life with his performance.
Miah Bay

as Annabeth

Miah Bay is thrilled to be in the cast of Lightning Thief, the Musical. Miah has been seen in New York as part of the New York Conservatory for the Dramatic Arts, Summer Intensive. Along with many roles in the greater Charlotte area, Miah has loved her time with Spotlight, including Little Shop of Horrors, A Christmas Suessical, Footloose, Mary Poppins Junior, and more! She is looking forward to majoring in Musical Theatre in college and continued growth in acting, singing, and the dramatic arts. Miah has committed to the Theatre Department at the University of North Carolina, Greensboro, where she will start in the fall. Miah is grateful for the love and support of her friends and families and thanks God for her love of the stage. Special thanks to Angela Mills for creating such a warm, inviting environment and to all of the strong friendships she has made here at Spotlight!

Hello! My name is Em Schaller, I'm 16 years old and I am a junior at Providence highschool! In this production I will be playing the roles of Mr Brunner/Chiron, Medusa, and more! Acting has been a big passion of mine since I've started doing spotlight in 2021 alongside painting and photography. I've loved watching this show come to life and I hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
