A Midsummer Night's Dream - May 30 - June 02, 2019

Stuyvesant High School

 Who's Who

  • Emily Rubinstein head shot

    Emily Rubinstein

as Hermia, in love with Lysander

Emily is very excited to be playing Hermia in this fantastic show! She is yet again being made fun of for being short (just you wait). No shorter than yesterday (unless she's grown?!). She has been in quite a few STC shows and is more excited with each show to be surrounded with such wonderful people! She would like to thank the cast and cast directors for putting up with her shenanigans and for being the best people in the world <3! She would also like to thank her loved ones and most importantly her three dogs because they are the only thing that matters to her (and if she shows you pictures of them or refuses to stop talking about them please just ignore her, she means well)! Enjoy the show!

  • Alexander Lake head shot

    Alexander Lake

as Lysander, young courtier in love with Hermia

Alexander is a Sophomore, and is participating in his first STC show! He comes from Australia, which is why he writes upside down. He participates in the Juilliard Pre-College program for his instrument the bassoon (a giant Clarinet), and his favorite sport is rugby (NFL with less brain damage).

  • Nathaniel Unger head shot

    Nathaniel Unger

as Demetrius, preferred by Egeus as a match for Hermia

Though this is Nathaniel’s first (and last) STC show, he’s been working in SING! for four years on script, lyrics, chorus, cast, and Tootsie Roll. Lover of spontaneity in Model UN speeches, he was distraught when discovering Shakespeare is not the right place for improv.

  • Cosmo Coen head shot

    Cosmo Coen

as Puck, or Robin Goodfellow, Oberon’s lieutenant

Cosmo is absolutely delighted to be a part of Stuyvesant's production of A Midsummer Night's Dream! This is his seventh STC show, and his second time acting on stage. He is very excited to be sneaking around and causing all the mischief that he does, and is very happy to have worked with such amazing directors and actors across the show. He hopes you enjoy the show and thanks you for coming!
