  • Romel Mencia

    as Aldolpho

    Romel, a junior, is the son of Carlos & Kiumel Mencia. His previous experiences include UCPE's Shrek the Musical (Donkey), and SVHS' The Laramie Project where he won an NCTC Regional Play Festival Excellence in Acting award for his role as Aaron Kreifels. Romel's future plans include majoring in musical theatre in college. He would like to thank his family, castmates, directors and Mr. Hurtado.

  • Kassidy Jewell

    as Janet Van De Graaff

    Kassidy, a junior, is the daughter of Dan and Kym Jewell. Previous experiences include Snoopy in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Fluff in Honk the Musical and Reggie Flutty in The Laramie Project at Sun Valley. As a member of UCPE, she was in the ensemble for Footloose and a Duloc Dancer/Rat in Shrek the Musical. She plans to attend Western Carolina University to major in athletic training and minor in musical theatre. She would like to thank her parents and beautiful baby sister. She would also like to thank her Lord and Savior for giving her the gifts that He has. Additional thanks to the directors for being inspiring and supportive. Lastly she would like to thank her support system:Brandon Swinson, Garrett Mayhew and Antoine Gallego with a special shout out to Codi Bryan and Brittney Neshat for helping her prepare for her role, giving her courage and always being there when she needs them.

  • Stephanie Hurtado

    as The Drowsy Chaperone

    Stephanie, a junior, is the daughter of Rogelio and Camenza Hurtado. Her previous experiences include Beaky in Honk the Musical and Lucy in You're a Good Man, Charlie Brown here at Sun Valley. She has also portrayed Chiffon in the Matthews Playhouse production of Little Shop of Horrors. Stephanie was a member of the ensemble in last year's UCPE production of Footloose and Fiona in this year's production of Shrek the Musical. She plans to major in musical theatre and minor in business in college then pursue a career in theatre, hopefully on the Broadway stage. She would like to thank her parents, her sister Carolina as well as Ms. Stafford and Mrs. Mitchell for all that they have taught her in the last three years.
