    Max Bass

    as Demetrius, preferred by Egeus as a match for Hermia

    is so excited to be a part of A Midsummer Night’s Dream. Max is a senior at Syosset High School and this will be his final production on the Syosset stage. He was last seen in The Addams Family (Lucas Beineke). Other past productions include The Little Mermaid (Prince Eric), Almost Maine (Lendall), Next To Normal (Dan), and Mamma Mia (Sky). Max was recently awarded with the Long Island Scholar Artist Award in the concentration of theater and was featured in Newsday. This past summer, he attended the University of Michigan’s musical theater intensive program, and now attends the American Theater Dance Workshop weekly where he studies ballet, jazz, and tap. Max has completed his college audition process with plans to major in musical theater at Nazareth College. He would like to thank Mr. Connor for this opportunity and all the hard work he has put into the production. He hopes you enjoy the show!

    as Helena, in love with Demetrius

    is a Junior at Syosset High School. You may have seen her in Syosset High school’s previous productions One Stoplight Town and Julius Caesar as well as her directing debut with the show “Lockdown” in the One Act Competition earlier this year. She is incredibly proud of the work the entire cast and crew has put into this production. She hopes everyone enjoys the show!

    as Egeus, mother of Hermia

    is a Junior at Syosset High School and this is her second Shakespearean play here. Emma has been a part of ACT since freshman year. She has been a part of One-Acts, as well as numerous other events. Some favorite roles outside of school include Hair (ensemble) and Suessical (Mrs. Mayor). Lastly, she would like to thank her entire cast and crew for their support, and can’t wait to play what she affectionately calls a “Shakespearean Karen!”
