Kendall Moehring (Tessie) makes her debut theater performance in Annie. She thoroughly enjoys singing, dancing, and spending time with her fellow cast members. Kendall is a member of the TJHS choir and has been taking voice lessons for the past year. She recently started piano lessons and hopes to perform in her first recital this summer. In her free time, Kendall enjoys watching theater productions and has seen several live performances. Hamilton is her favorite. Kendall is extremely grateful for all the hard work the directors and crew members put into this production and appreciates the opportunity to take part in this timeless musical.
Lauren Peabody (July, Boylan Sister) has been acting for about eight years. Some of her past roles are Marta in The Sound of Music, James in James and the Giant Peach, Lavender in Matilda, and Arista in The Little Mermaid. Lauren likes to read, draw, and write in her spare time. She would like to thank her friends for letting her drag them into the theater and her family for all their support and for giving her rides to rehearsal.
Mylie Sims (Miss Hannigan) has been performing for as long as she can remember. She is a competitive dancer and a member of the THS dance team. She has been in three plays: Peter Pan (Tinkerbell), Alice in Wonderland (Alice), and The Brothers O'Toole. Annie is her musical debut. Mylie has always loved to sing and has been in choir for 7 years. Mylie is very excited for the chance to bring Miss Hannigan to life! She would like to thank her family for all of their support and Kathy, Rani, Kelsey and Mr. Chase for this opportunity.
Jaylee Smith (Lily St. Regis) makes her debut on stage with the Taylorville High School's portrayal of, "Annie." She has been a part of the Taylorville Choir since 6th grade and stuck with the program throughout remote learning and the other challenges COVID-19 caused. She is also on the basketball team, and scholastic bowl team, and takes part in the seasonal Madrigal performances. Jaylee is very passionate about music and it is rare to see her when she is not at least tapping her foot to the beat of a song. She loves to sing and dance so the Musical has been a welcomed way to partake in both for her, and she cannot wait to participate in the musical for the rest of her high school years.
Savannah Sorrells (Kate, Boylan Sister) played Allana in The Little Mermaid last year. She has been in choir ever since it was an option and was in the Junior High drama club. Savannah likes to sing, read, be with animals, and travel. She would like to thank the directors for giving her the opportunity to play this part.
Skyler Stockon (Opal) is in her first year of being in the musical, but has had past experiences with acting. She auditioned for a past musicial for the high shool THE SOUND OF MUSIC, and got and understudy for the little girl. She also enjoyed auditioning for a lead role in a movie that she sadly did not get the chance to be in. She has really enjoyed the experience of being in this year's musical.
Kaylen Tucker (Duffy) is an eighth grader that is very musically active. This is her first time being in a musical. She spends her week doing many music activities. Such as: Harmony, Bells and Choir at church, Piano Lessons, and Band and Choir at school. In addition to all of these music activities, she also does the CPDA dance team and regular dance. Kaylen would love to thank all of her family and her teachers that have helped her grow.
Olivia Wilson (Pepper) is a sophomore performing for the first time in front of an audience! After participating in the stage crew for the previous year's production, The Little Mermaid, she gained enough confidence to try out and made the part. She loves music, acting, and enjoys the challenge and dedication it takes to perform. She would like to thank the directors, cast, and crew for welcoming her into this wonderful family.
