Disney's The Little Mermaid JR. - March 06 - March 07, 2015

The Anderson School

 Acknowledgements

For starters: a big thanks to our administration for helping us realize our vision.

Thank you, Ms. Hyde, for continuing to champion our musical theater vision. As our program grows so does your support. We hope you and Sophia enjoy the show!

Mr. Schliessman, you help us figure out the logistics of space and time and work as inter-school liaison. You are kind, compassionate, and reassuring. Thank you for being such a supportive leader.

And here comes Ms. Jordan, the go-to person for the whole endeavor. Whenever we need you, you are there with bells on. You dedicate your valuable weekend hours to the project. You recognize our efforts, keep us on track, and feed us chocolate. Thank you for all you do.

An artistic vision needs an artist: enter Vahan Nahabedian. Most set designers would do just that: design the set. You do something more powerful: you guide our students to do it. Thank you for your time and your sense of community.

Thank you to Frank Felix and the custodial staff for helping us with technical issues, clearing the stage, and just being an easy bunch to work with.  A show this size couldn’t go on without your help.

Thank you to Marcie Shaw, Parent Coordinator/Word Wizard, who sent out many eBlasts to families, helped organize communications, and kept calendars and notifications up to date!

A special shout-out goes to Chris Kurtz who volunteered his time to work with our lighting technicians. You trained them to use the panel to enhance lighting effects and bring our underwater world to life.

Programs get your programs here! Our PTA parents are the best and the new ticket system is efficient and easy to use. Thank you so much for your support, especially Adrienne Ratto who led the team.

The student headshots in this playbill are thanks to the generosity of Anderson parent Kevin McCormick, who donated his services for our school program again this year. See his work at KJMphoto.com.

To our amazing stage crew: you are a well-oiled machine. You keep order backstage and never miss a beat. You transform the stage from land to sea and back again. You’re awesome.

Lights, camera, action! The Anderson School Theatre cast of The Little Mermaid Jr. is a motivated group of young students who have blossomed into talented young actors. From Annie to Aladdin to TLM Jr., some of you have earned your ‘triple crown’ of productions and made so many memories along the way. Others have joined us this year and we greatly value your new place in our community.

A heartfelt goodbye goes to two eighth graders who have been with the program since its inception:

     Zoeymae Dillon-Levine (3 years)

     Tali Natter (3 years)

And three special eighth grade newbies:

     Daphne Adam (1 year)

     Russell Davidson (1 year)

     Yotam Ferber (1 year)

We will miss you and your talent and we hope you come back to share your achievements!

Love, Ms. Sarah and Mr. Shaheen
